This geography based project focuses on borders in our towns, cities, states, and countries. Students will identify a border and document it through video, photography, interviews and writing. We recommend using Lesson Two, ‘Choosing your Topic’, to help your students find a focus for the Borders Project. Turns out we will be camping at a state park, which of course, has a border. Perhaps is would interesting to try to document the difference between the interior and exterior of the park. Or all the different borders we encounter on 11.11.11.

I live in San Diego and teach at the CSU in San Marcos. How about the Mexican-American border for a hot topic?
