Comment by Brandon Litman on November 13, 2011 at 11:07am As long as you have clearances for music. Do the parents know that their children might appear in the video? A lot of schools have a standard release/understanding among teachers/parents about general videos promoting school and academic activity. You might want to check with your school's administration.
Comment by Mayra on November 13, 2011 at 11:02am I can upload it through Firefox, but the video has less than 3 min of copyrighted music, which I can use legally. I am not sure about whether I am okay to have faces of children, none are identified by name. Would I have to seek a permission form for every child that is seen in the video? This is a school and there are many children. Once again, none are identified by name.
Comment by Brandon Litman on November 13, 2011 at 10:27am Hi Mayra - On the homepage there is a large button that says "click here to upload footage" Go for it (please consider using Firefox or Chrome as your browser to upload).
You can upload straight to Vimeo too, and then link the video through the uploader. We do not accept YouTube video. Thanks for participating!
Comment by Mayra on November 13, 2011 at 10:21am Two questions: 1. Where do I post the video? 2. Must it be on Vimeo or can it be Youtube?
Comment by Chris Sloan on November 12, 2011 at 12:24pm Here's a link to some of the people I've collaborated with for quite a few years now. Like this group, it's a variety of teachers from the U.S. and around the world who are committed to teaching. https://plus.google.com/102348327409046706063/posts
Comment by Chris Sloan on November 12, 2011 at 12:20pm Things went well for my students. Lots of enthusiasm for the project. Lots of footage to go through. This will keep us busy for a while. Some students will finish soon. Other projects will take until the December deadline, I suspect.
