Hello. I'm a South African photographer and film maker traveling in Africa. I'm in Nairobi at the moment and I'd very much like to contribute some footage to One Day on Earth. I'm looking for people who'd like to collaborate, especially Kenyans who could help me to portray Kenya or more specifically Nairobi the way they see it.
My email is: hello@michaelvr.co.za and my website is www.michaelvr.co.za.
I hope to hear from you soon as time is short!

On October 10th 2010 the planet is getting to work on climate change! Green Belt Movement is leading on tree planting for the 10:10:10 campaign launched by 10:10 and 350.org. The day is all about individual actions, so why not sign up to plant a tree, or 10, or 110?!

Hello All

I do agree with Priscilla but in part. We also have sober Kenyan who are happy in spite of the challenges of life.
I look forward to displaying the happy and moral Kenya.

Keep sharing.

This is great for Kenya. Indeed the world is just a small village with diverse opportunities and challenges. While some persons enjoy great luxuries, many more persons die, suffer hunger in this world of plenty. Let's be one and bless each other.

Kind regards,
Priscilla Nzamalu

This would interest you too.

Nov. 15-20 there will be a Global Education Conference http://www.globaleducationconference.com/ . iEARN-USA is a partner with the organizers. The platform that will be used is Elluminate.

See: http://www.iearn.org

It would be great to have many of you do presentations. They will be scheduled for convenient times in all time zones. This is a great opportunity for you and your students to share how iEARN has enhanced your teaching and their learning. You can find a list of the different strands for the conference at http://www.globaleducationconference.com/tracks.html

The call for presentations is at http://www.globaleducationconference.com/call-for-presentations.html Be sure to mention you are a member of iEARN in your proposal.

Please think about presentations you can give.

The date proposals are due is Sept. 16.

As soon as your proposal is accepted it will be posted on the web site.

Spread the word with other iEARNers!

Warm regards,

from Diane of iEARN USA

Happy to learn of your interest. I visited the University and had a healthy sharing with the VC Prof Thairu.

This will be the beginning of greater things that your university will take withing the global village.

I wish to link you to the iEARN group too where you will also get ideas in response to your questions.

Outside the website you can get resources from me if you send you email on:
