12.12.12 is next week. Any ideas? The theme this year is: "What do you have, what do you need." Does that help get the creative juices flowing? Let me know what you are thinking of filming this year!

I only found out about this initiative last week and started brainstorming. I'll be out and about with a few friends and family filming what life is like on our small island paradise but also doing 11 fun activities on the day. Niue is an upraised coral atoll in the South Pacific that most people haven't heard of so we hope to share with others Niue through the eyes of our young people.

On 11/11/11, I have my college class for Concept Art for Animation, so I suppose I will have to be documenting what I do that day. I got permission from my teacher to bring in my camera, so maybe someone will find what I do interesting? Haha!

It just so happens that my college is having this Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, this week; and, on Friday, there will be a Sleep Out, that will give off the impression of how homeless people live. So, I will be taking footage of what I experience and how I learned from it, along with other footage as well. For instance, footage of people talking about what they think being "homeless" means, and how we can help others from being "homeless." So, it should be a very interesting event to film. I am excited.
