Hi One Day on Earthers!
It has been particularly busy for the past several months in both the New York and LA office - but I hope you all have gotten the periodic mass emails.
If you do get the messages, then you know of the awesome success of the global screening - 160 countries joined in. . . it was a dream come true. The…

Oh wow, what a week of developments. We are in full swing on securing locations, tackling some of the most challenging areas of the world. I'm writing this blog entry from Paris, where I just met with the good people of UNESCO. We hope to continue to connect with…

Danielle Connolly said… Hi Brandon, thanks for the comments. I am from Zimbabwe and returned about 3 years ago after university in the UK. Home is Victoria Falls. I want to stay until the next elections, which would provide nice closure to my work and this period; but I nurture massive wanderlust so keen to start moving again. All the best, Dani
Rex Williams said… Brandon, I followed the process and uploaded my video, but when I watch it on Vimeo, it gets really pixelated. I shot in HD. It's a 287 MB .wmv file that's only 6 minutes long. What did I do wrong?
Thanks.
Amanda Jarvis said… Hey! It was uploading until the end and then saying error so I went in and tried compressing it before I uploaded it onto the site. Quality is not as good but I guess that's why ya'll asked us to back up our original files lol. Thank you for getting back to me, I know you have probably been very busy. Mahalo and Aloha ^.^
Dear Brandon,
It's great to know that you could see the videos because I was worried, I had some trouble to upload the footage. I have more pending because for an strange reason I don't why the website didn't recognize my files.
By the other side, I guess I didn't understand well. I ask you: Did we have to send the raw files on USB also?
Because I didn't, and here we don't have funds for paying the service with FEDEX.
If it is necessary please let me know and I will ask here how can I do. Thanks. Best regards!

Hi Brandon
Filename OneDayOnEarth-Writing-Recording.m2t 991Mb
in dropbox JohnPerkins_GB
took 8 hours to upload which even on my connection is rather slow. :-)
Thanks
JP
Hi Brandon.
The video should be with you now via dropbox. Took forever to upload (8 hours) so had to leave it upload overnight and then had to go out early this morning. Just stopped by my profile and don't see the video there?
Best
JP
OK, thanks. Stopping for dinner:-) Will upload after

Hi Brandon ... thanks for your suggestion. Only one problem there is that I only have 500Mb available and the video is 900+ (HD) Would be a shame to lose the quality. I can upload HD to youtube with no restriction on file size.
My Vimeo account is not a + or pro as I mostly use the bigger audience at youtube to get the videos out :-)
Best
JP
