I suppose so, but I wouldn't know how to go about it. I'd be the one researching the history of the local press or more likely standard issue military gear to ID cameras.
On October 1st 2010 I'll be arriving in the San Francisco Bay Area for a one month art residency. Upon landing I will begin a study of the path of The Sun's rays across various sites, predicting the movement of light and shadow specific to Sunday the 10th. Based on this interplay I'll choose a location and spend the day documenting it.
Perhaps I'll discover an accidental solar calendar site, like a neighborhood Stonehenge. Or perhaps the architecture of a public landmark will have a special relationship to light on that day.
