- I am officiating at my sister's wedding in Iowa, which also happens to be my boyfriend's birthday. My sister and her fiance have agreed to have an unusual wedding, where attendees sit in a circle and where the rings are passed around through ribbons with each person present blessing the rings. I will capture some backstage moments and my boyfriend capture the actual event. Since gay marriage is legal in Iowa, I am proud to serve as the officiate for my sister's wedding and share the experience with my boyfriend, showing him all the wonderful aspects to life in my hometown.
